About Me

Hello and welcome to my website. I’m here to help you on your journey to find your child’s voice. For over ten years, I’ve been working in private practice helping children and their families as a licensed Speech Language Pathologist with the American Speech-Language-Hearing Association. In addition, I’ve worked for LAUSD and Burbank school districts as a Speech Pathologist. There, I worked with Early Start intervention programs, as well as led a team to support elementary age students. Over the years, I’ve also run numerous social pragmatic skills groups for children who need group treatment.
I believe in a strength based approach to meet every child where their interests are at, in order to build a relationship of engagement and reciprocity. My background of being a mother to a neurodiverse child, as well as working in the field, has given me a whole child perspective. For this reason, I believe in incorporating parents, caregivers and the extended therapeutic team (when applicable) into our sessions so that we can all work toward the same goals.
In my practice, I apply several methods of treatment, most notably Prompt, Floortime, and ABA (Applied Behavior Analysis). Each of these specializations is a tool that I utilize in my toolbox to support language and communicative development. These tools have been found to effectively support language development for a variety of children.  This includes children with neurodiversity, phonological disorders, and expressive and receptive language disorders. I also work with children on their pre-literacy skills, phonological awareness, fluency and reading comprehension.
If you as a parent or caregiver are unsure of your child’s specific needs, I provide standardized assessments in all areas of language and speech acquisition.  This will provide diagnosis and therapeutic plans and goals. In other words, I will help you understand your child’s strengths and weaknesses and implement individualized strategies for therapy. Once a proper diagnosis and accompanying goals are established, I can also assist in the structure of an effective Individualized Educational Program (IEP), and/or a Self Determination Programming (SDP) through Regional Center.
I am experienced in working with infants, children and adolescents. I am currently working in private practice in both Encino and Westlake.

The limits of my language mean the limits of my world
